PlantWatcher - Proven environmental technology!
Technical Discussion Of The PlantWatcherT
Figure 1
PlantWatcher is inserted into the soil approximately 7 to 12cm from the drip point; the water then exits the water director and wets a 15 to 25cm diameter surface area. Gravity and the soil particles facilitate the ingress of the water to soil below. As water is released from the water director, it migrates toward the sensor at the base of the Plantwatcher. Upon contacting the sensor, it blocks air flow and automatically stops the delivery of water from the water director. This on and off cycle, triggered by the needs of the roots, continues to supply water precisely as needed. Only PlantWatcher provides for alternate wetting and drying of the soil, simulating nature, and allowing the roots to breathe oxygen. Oxygen is very important for growth in the synthesis of potassium and phosphates.
The unit automatically compensates for various types of soil, humidity, the needs of the plant and other atmospheric conditions such as sunlight, because it is controlled by the demands of the root system. As a result, plants grow in a more healthy way, free from the stress of over or under watering; both you and your plant enjoy the many benefits. The guess work and concern of when to water is never an issue. Holidays and time away from the plant can be worry free as plants are watered automatically in a timely and most healthy way.
